Huck Distinguished Lecture in the Life Sciences

Dr. Suzanne Simard is a professor of forest ecology at the University of British Columbia; author of the best-selling book, Finding the Mother Tree; an acclaimed public speaker; and the leader of the Mother Tree Project. In this accessible and moving lecture, Dr. Simard will share insights from her own journey of discovering the interconnected of trees and, along the way, help audiences understand just how vital trees are to one another and to humans.

The Huck Distinguished Lecture in the Life Sciences will be delivered by Dr. Suzanne Simard on Tuesday, April 18, at 4.00 p.m. in the Flex Theater (132 HUB-Robeson Center). All are welcome!
